Wait for a sale, and buy *almost* all the active wear from Torrid. My favorite pieces are the longline sports bras & active pants. I'll tell you what to avoid due to bad material..
The best pieces I purchased were these olive green and black wicking active cami tank tops in 2021.
I am able to go braless with these tanks!!! Whaaaa 36H!! Yes!!! only when I'm lounging at home of course, and fingers crossed Torrid will bring them back some day.. purchased 7 of them on sale and then they disappeared forever... as a top heavy large busted woman, it was nice to be able to go braless and I am taking care of these pieces in case Torrid never brings them back. These have thick material great for wicking sweat and the material feels comparable to the scuba material torrid uses for their dresses.
Now, I don't really care all too much about matching, I wear mismatched socks all the time..when it comes to working out though..I like feeling cute and matchy matchy. Torrid has the best active wear sets.
My current favorite sets..
I highly recommend their bike shorts vs their active shorts. Just my
personal preference they can be too high compression/binding on your thighs,
and also pull on your leg hair if you're not freshly shaved. I save my active full length leggings for winter time..too hot in Texas. Most of the time I'm in bike shorts from March til October.
Now on to their longline sport bras..they have a thick compression material, and I fit my 36H bust in a size 1. I love feeling supported. I have tried the zip up sports bras, for me it's a pass. I prefer to pull it over my head vs having a zipper.
Current faves..
And only one material I would not recommend due its snagging very easily it's 88% nylon 12% spandex..never put in a dryer.. snagged on my nails, felt like panty hose thin..all other active wear has held up. If I locate it, I will post a picture of a pink top I bought last year. I didn't throw away because I literally wore a handful of times, and try to ignore how snagged it is.🤣
For now I'll post this picture..it's the same material..avoid avoid avoid!
