While I haven't shopped in a Torrid store since 2015, I do have 15 years of experience placing orders through their website. Fortunately, I have not had any bad experiences with an online order. The process of placing an order is simple and quick, especially if you have your credit or debit card on file. There's also several ways to pay, including Klarna, Paypal, and Torrid's own credit card.
Top tip: make sure you're absolutely finished shopping because there's no cancelling an order. Sometime last year, Torrid removed an option which allowed 30 minutes to cancel an order.

In April 2022, there was a 3 day wait for your order to ship. Currently in May 2022, they are shipping orders in 2 days. There's also a message on their website which says they are upgrading their shipping systems and future orders will be shipping faster! I wonder if this means shipping in 1 day. I remember the days of receiving my package in the same week I ordered.
Once an order is placed, Torrid processes my order in 2 days & ships from their warehouse in Hebron, Kentucky. I receive my package in my mailbox via USPS in 4-5 days to Texas. If you're not signed up for their Torrid Rewards account, do it now! I have a loyalist account, which includes free shipping.
Regarding your Torrid order status: you should receive several emails from Torrid. One when you place an order to let you know it is in process, another once it's been shipped along with a tracking number, and 2 more to let you know it's almost there, and when your package is delivered. 4 total. Torrid does a great job at informing you of your order status.
In my experience, when there's an order delay it could be due to a high dollar amount. Many years ago, I placed a $1,000 order, and a customer service rep from Torrid called to give verbal authorization. This is the only delay I've ever had regarding a Torrid.com order.
Other reasons your Torrid order may be delayed and has not shipped yet: Torrid might have a high volume of orders and needs a few extra days to process orders, weather emergencies, and if there is any other problem with your order, Torrid will notify you via email. Make sure your email address is accurate or check your spam box.
Finally, order canceled has only happened to me once, and it was because the item was sold out. Torrid does notify via email that your order has been cancelled.
